I began taking classes of Aaron Sistrunk in summer of 2004. In an effort to increase changes in my body, I began personal training with him once a week for 8 weeks.

Through various exercises that worked the core of the body, the most noticeable and exciting aspect of my fitness program with Aaron was the results I saw in my abdomen. As a curvy body type, I had never had a flat stomach before.

On top of feeling fit, I received compliments from my family and friends and had another excuse to go shopping!

People often refer to coach Aaron Sistrunk as my dad. This is for a number of reasons. Everyone who knows coach Aaron sees me as young Aaron. Apparently I looked the way Coach Aaron looked way back when (lol). I've always been a little bit bigger (not taller, but more muscular) than those in my age group, but with the help of coach Aaron my attributes were maximized my strength, quickness, speed, work ethic, and dedication to the sport everyone loves (Football of course) has grown tremendously.

Not only did this change me from a 5'6 135lbs freshman to the 5'8 170lbs junior that I am today, but he has also transformed the entire Chestnut Hill Academy sport program and the spirit of the underclassman. Being such a dedicated worker in the weight room, out on the spirit on the track, and doing the behind-the-scene stuff will correlate out on the field. There are not to many "Booby Miles" in this day and age, so by neglecting to put in the time you are putting yourself at risk.

The workouts are varied, keeping me interesting to do more no matter how bad it hurts. I know in the end that I'm going to have that 6-pack, or that it will make me faster, or it will simply make me a mentally tougher person. Going into coach Aaron's workouts with a positive attitude will help anyone and you never are over working a particular area, and exercises are very unique. He has helped me as a mentor, a RB coach, and a trainer, and I very grateful he has come into my life because he is definitely made a difference out on the football field, and he helped change the way I carry myself. --Rashad Campbell 08'
